Lighting In Photography – DIY Macro Ring Light

As you would agree with us, lighting in photography is extremely important. A few weeks ago, we shared a video on how you can create your very own macro ring light. Whilst many people enjoyed the video, some of us did not have the right tools or the knowledge to cut things apart and solder wires together to build our the macro ring light.

So, we decided to set ourselves a challenge to see if there was a simpler way to create a DIY macro ring light. Well… We finally found one of the simplest DIY tutorial on creating a  macro ring light. For those people who were not keen with cutting and soldering wires, watch the video below. It’s really simple and you only require two things –

1. LED keyring lights
2. Velcro

After watching the video, you can’t say lighting in photography is expensive or difficult! We hope you enjoyed the video. There is no excuse for you not have your very own macro ring light now! If you do not have the LED keyring lights or the Velcro laying around at home, you can check them out at Amazon. Please make sure you check that the velcro length is long enough to wrap around lens first!
