While we are sure that no photographer is going to ditch his or her tripod for the JOBY GorillaPod, this product is so versatile that we think quite a few people are going to enjoy using it. Did you catch how Nic was able to wrap that badboy around a standard telephone pole to get steady shots from a pretty unconventional angle? If you have ever been out on a photo shoot where you just weren’t able to bring your regular tripod along, you can certainly appreciate how this piece of equipment might come in handy.

We have seen quite a few tripods that are similar to the JOBY GorillaPod SLR Zoom, but few of them seem to be as rugged or as easy to use as this model seems to be. It just may be something that you add to your digital photography equipment wish list in the very near future!
