We came across a brilliant and creative macro photography idea today which we just had to share with everyone.
Singapore based photographer Fong Qi Wei has taken flower photography to a whole new level. Just like the ‘deconstructed food’ that you find on the menus in many fine dining restaurants today, Fong has applied the same concept to his flower photography.
He takes apart his subjects and separates each component. These parts are then rearranged to produce a beautiful concept of a ‘deconstructed flower’. The most important thing is that when we look at all the deconstructed components as a whole, we can instantly recognise that it is a flower.
